Tamuna Kiknadze

Tamar joined GACC team in 1998 as a project officer and now is a Coordinator of GACC main projects. She already has 10 years of experience in project coordination implemented through GACC programmes, such as: 2012-2013 – Country coordinator in the project European Union Eastern Partnership Culture Programme's Project `HERITAGE CRAFTS - COMMON PLATFORM FOR DEVELOPMENT - Strengthening Creative Industries in Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan; 2009-2010 Development of Cultural Industries in the Armenian and Georgia through the introduction of UK experience; British Council Creative Collaboration Programme; 2009 - 2nd International Symposium of Georgian Culture, Florence, Italy, funded by various Int. and Local Donors; 2009 - Emergency stabilization of the Episcopal Palace (9th-10th c) of the Nikozi Monastery complex of the Nikozi Monastery Complex (5th-18th c). "Cultural Emergency Response" programme of the Prince Claus Fund, 1998-1999; "Georgian Crafts Development Program", Granted by Eurasia Foundation etc. She also had been the coordinator of GACC project of the Conservation of Timotesubani Church of the Virgin, which was awarded European Union Prize for Cultural Heritage/Europa Nostra medal in the category of Architectural Heritage in 2007.

In 2002 Tamar participated in Community Connection Program, Sponsored by US Department of State Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs, having internships at the Phillips Collection, Phoenix Gallery, Aid to Artisans, American Association of Museums on Crafts business and Marketing.
